Hello, I am Mrs Mary Emegwa from Uganda. I needed a Knee Replacement Surgery as Arthritis started affecting my joints a few years ago. At first, I could manage this without any surgery and with the help of medication. But soon my general physician advised me to install pins in my ankle to alleviate the pain. One thing I’d recommend is if you can afford it, take a travel companion with you. That long a stay was a bit lonely and isolating. I met several other African patients at the beginning of my visit, but they all went home before I did. With my new pain-free knees in place, I’m looking forward to living a better life. I use to restrict myself, and it limited my life. Thanks to Forerunners Healthcare for the excellent results, I hope now to be able to do that.
